This includes direct logins (e.g. booking.com) or logins via social media accounts, which work fine using Chrome, Edge, IE and others. In other cases I have been unable to use drop-down boxes or calendar pop-ups, or to place orders. Opera seems to be blocking way too much functionality. I've tried turning off ad-blocking and this seems to help a little, but not completely. The degradation is so bad that I'm likely to stop using Opera.

I haven't created an Opera profile, there is nothing in settings about it and nothing in help. (Spoiler - I've seen a few internet posts that mention manually editing ini files, etc - my view is that a solution needs to work for all users, not just those who are happy with this!)
@cozza I'll try with v46 and see if it works better. After all, it's Christmas and I have time on my hands
