<![CDATA[I can't upadate to Stable 49.0.2725.56]]>Opera Stable update 49.0.2725.56 was released on 2017/12/12. But I can't update to 49.0.2725.56 from 49.0.2725.39. Why?

So, I downloaded Zip file from this link at Opera official blog. And I installed. But Now my Opera is ver.49.0.2725.39.

I've seen your link and tested - also downloaded as a .zip - but thought there were some changes downloading from a Windows or Mac, despite other times just done it as .dmg.

Ok,
since recent MacOS versions I could suppose there is a change from .dmg to .app.

As I've seen, the blogs download version it's .32 as you told and it appears in the info.plist.

Try this one from Opera FTP, it appears as .56 in the info.plist.

PS:
You can use the [Parent directory] link to move around if you need this way in the future, also for Linux and Windows and even for other devices.

No. I downloaded the file from a Mac machine. I decompressed this Zip file, Installer App appeared.

I think Opera software recently changed download file type to Installer App from DMG file.

Incidentally, I downloaded the file from this link at official blog.

Did you downloaded the file from a Windows machine?

I suppose that should be a .dmg file, try renaming the .zip to .dmg or download the file from a Mac.
