<![CDATA[Close tabs to the left]]>Why is it automatically assumed one would only want to close all the tabs to the right from current tab? I've often came to a point where I had tons of tabs open, but I wanted to close them to the left of currently active tab. Why is this not an option available to the user?

When is this useful? When you for example open several image galleries and bunch of individual images from each of these galleries. But then you want to close all the tabs with galleries that remained on the left and only leave opened images on the right, because you only need images in the end. Currently, this is not possible because "Close tabs to the left" doesn't exist as a function.

Only Vivaldi has "close tabs to the left" unfortunately. I don't have Firefox to check that but I bet it's the same. 😞

US+EU people process stuff from left to right, and we want to discard stuff on left side.

This worked great in Opera 12..

It's really strange this is not a feature yet. We need to close the tabs to the left just as often as we do to the right.

There are opera extensions, but I prefer those one with better icon:
