The biggest problem that I have is the tab handling in Opera, having more than 20 or so tabs open becomes very difficult because of how cramped the tab bar becomes.
I have seen people saying that they use many tabs, hundreds or a thousand. I use a lot of tabs in Firefox which handles the tabs very well and they are usable, especially with a tab search extension called tab hunter.

What I would like is a better way of handling tabs in Opera and I would like suggestions on a way to handle larger numbers of tabs without having them all squashed up. Is there some extension that would make it easier?

And this goes for any browser. Instead of leaving multiple tabs open, save tabs of the pages that you usually keep open. Then just click them whenever you want to use them. This saves a ton of memory and CPU.

there is one that was mentioned here that will give you a drop down list of the open tabs. i'll see if i can find it so you can decide if it is something that might work for you. also maybe create a feature in opera like multi row bookmark bar addon for firefox, but instead for tabs, something like this:

I do use TabMixPlus in Firefox and it does make tab handling much easier. I don't know of anything like that for Opera.

Maybe it will not be so necessary with the tab button but the tabs are going to get extremely squashed up with the more tabs that are open.

There was another button over that which meant that I was unable to see it. I have now moved that which makes it a little easier.

What I would like is an extension that makes handling the tab bar more effectively. The tab button does help though.
