Needless to say I blocked it.</p>
<p dir="auto">But why would a mail program want to have access to a webcam? Other than for spying?</p>
<p dir="auto">Bit suspicious isn't it?</p>

Opera Mail is Opera 12 with some tweaks and browser stuff hidden. Opera 12 had webcam support. So, it might just be Opera Mail detecting the presence of the device which shows up as an access.</p>
