It would start and then drop. Something was running in the background since the app showed in Control Panel, but the UI would not load.

I had to delete and reinstall Opera, which caused me to lose open tabs and bookmarks. Very disappointing.

A little more information might be needed such as which device you are using. Perhaps submit a formal bug report so that the developers have a little more information to work with.
Opera Mini is working fine here on both an iPhone SE and 6S Plus which both updated to iOS 11 without any noticeable problems.

iOS 11

Iphone 6S

iPad Mini 2

Both worked fine before update.

Cause of Crash: The developers did not update the app to 64-Bit Architecture, which is NOW REQUIRED IN APPLE PRODUCTS as 32-Bit was dropped in this update.

Installed iOS 11 on my iPad yesterday and Opera Mini will begin to load with the Opera logo and Speed Dial grid both visible on the top right as normal. But the buttons are unresponsive, no Speed Dial icons come up and the app just hangs for a few seconds and then switches itself off. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app while retaining the data (as per the new iOS feature) and it still doesn't work. I haven't yet completely deleted the app as I don't want to lose my bookmarks etc.
