<ol>
<li>the user double clicks a word to select it</li>
<li>it presses CTRL-F to find it in the page</li>
<li>as the Find window opens, the "find" field has been already populated by the selected word</li>
</ol>
<p dir="auto">I think Firefox does like this.</p>
<p dir="auto">I would also add to the label/balloon that pops up when a user leaves the mouse on a selected text the option, near Find and Copy, "find in the page".</p>
