Imagus is fast and amazing - use it to all your hover needs.

What do people use to batch/bulk DL such as images?

To download images, I just drag them off the page and drop them on the desktop. I move them elsewhere afterwards.

There is an extension called "Links selector" not sure if from old Opera... 馃槥
But allows to select an area and download any link on it.

For many links I used to use old Opera Presto, Links Sidebar and select the links from there.

          PS:
Now I've seen there are many.

                Web Panels to Opera
                Built for Opera!

Latest version (lot's of new) available at GitHub: https://github.com/ekner/Web-Panel

Older (currently) available at Opera Addons: https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/web-panel/

                alt text

Bear in mind that Opera has native web panels - but those are not freely available to users 馃槙

Yes very useful and one of the most necessary.

With V7 Ext Manager you can export your installed extensions list, really useful too.

Can you save them in a format that you could use to reinstall them if necessary? Would that work with all extensions, even ones from Chrome?

It creates a clickable HTML file - as the attached in the above post - .
You can use it to open the respective extensions website and install it.

Chrome has not store version and don't know how could be ported.
Export in Dev mode and rename the .nex to .crx maybe works, never tried.

You can check Chrome Store or ask the V7 extensions developer - @Vux777.

When I created and new profile I also backed up ext related folders. It was smooth though some ext settings had mishaps so it's better to go trough them just to be sure. Profile folder got thinner altogether like 90MB which is some 40MB less than prior reinstall. Slowness that some sites had I'm not sure could that been ext related ~ of ext's removed - but some local data left behind... dunno.

i am quite fond of this extension here:

                                https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/sessionbox-free-multi-log/megbklhjamjbcafknkgmokldgolkdfig?hl=en-US

it lets you create multiple logins to any website.

and this one here is a goodie i don't ever want to miss:

                                https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/youtube-subscriptioncolle/kdmnjgijlmjgmimahnillepgcgeemffb?hl=en-US

it lets you create collection folders in youtube, where you can sort your subscriptions into,
making your subscriptions menu neat and organized. also gives option to hide the subscriptions all together so you only have the collection folders. can even upload your own folder thumbnails/images.

You think you know, but you have no idea.

@acidinmyfridge There's proper settings pages for that extension with "tons" of options - you can basically set it look & function just the way you want.

No, as far as I know / tested.

Used to use Imagus in OPresto, very good, right now I'm using a userscript.

Bookmarks sidebar looks fine but despite the comfortable auto show would be annoying for scrollbar use - didn't tested on the left but I suppose it's the same, I'll check later-.

It is made strictly for Opera sidebar
