I literally have to go to the file explorer and go to where it is installed just to run it. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? What can I do? I've tried "Pin to start" but that did zip and it doesn't have a shortcut on the desktop.

So is it me, or is Microsoft trying to hide software now?

OK, online installer then. Try downloading and run the offline one to see what happens.

I tried to go to Win 10's app store for Opera and it didn't find Opera.

As far as I know, MS only accepts browsers that use Edge's engine in its store.

The only browsers (aside from Edge) were things like UC browser and some other that cost 99 cents.

No Opera that is findable in any way except through the file explorer. Even in the "All Programs" area, I can scroll to the O's and there is zip. I even tried installing the Classic Shell program and it STILL doesn't show it. It is so frustrating. All I can do is pin it to the taskbar to run it from there.
