<![CDATA[All Bookmarks folder empty?]]>Opera stopped responding, after closing and reopening program, my bookmarks bar was empty I did not find anywhere to restore them from (both bookmarks and bookmarks.bak folder appear to be empty) so have started - laboriously - readding them to bookmarks bar.

However, when i open the All Bookmarks folder there is nothing there, just in the bookmarks bar folder.

So im wondering, is there a problem with my Opera installation - or is this "normal"?

Should i copy them into the all bookmarks folder as well?

If you want them to show up there, yes.

and how do i do that?

Bookmarks > Show all bookmarks (or click on the heart icon on sidebar). Go to 'bookmarks bar' folder, copy what you want and paste into 'all bookmarks'.

ideally id like to make a back-up copy of the bookmarks just in case it happens again. And if you could tell me how to do that as well, id be very grateful. thanks!

However, when i open the All Bookmarks folder there is nothing there, just in the bookmarks bar folder.

Did you copy or did you move them to bookmarks bar? Or did just opened the page and change the bookmarks folder to bookmarks bar?

If the last, then they were moved from the original folder to the bookmarks bar one.
