this thread is about data throughput between the frontends, stfu with complaints about om's instability.

opera's servers wont process biiiiiig downloads and thus make a direct connection between the requested server and the recipient (around 3.5 mb, iirrc and haven't verified this recently).

biiiiig downloads via uc mini are not only more stable and resilient, but they also claim around 30% savings achieved by their compression.

i'm too busy in irl and lacking the hardware etc to reliably test and verify their claims beyond my anecdotal experience.

But Opera Mini Server (for download capabilities) & & the built in download manager of Opera Mini needs upgradation & improvements.
Opera Mini's file downloading speed is not stable. Any downloading speed gets gaining then speed falling. Sometimes I get 700-800KBPS & sometimes 0-32KBPS.
Whatever, From this web link http://www.lanlinglaurel.com/gaming-wallpapers.html From this website Opera Mini can't able to download any Photos. All those photos are high resulation (big sized) file. File size is Approx more than 800KB. It says "Invalid Link" / "Download Failed" on Extreme mode. High mode & Data savings Off mode download a 23KB bogus file.
