That's why I also wrote about the parameter that needs to be changed in firefox's about:config, so that the browser can use all available plugins besides flash.</p>

<p dir="auto">But I would not suggest doing so, since it will lack any securtity patches from that date until today. Instead, use firefox for the sites that need java and make sure you have set "plugin.load_flash_only" to false on "about:config", so it allows java to be executed (as of version 52 and later, firefox only allows flash to be executed).</p>
