I found that the browser extensions were removed, but their data remained. That's good. For some reason the browser settings selectively lost - some lost, and some stayed.
As it turned out, the problem may be not only in the update, but in the hard drive too - apparently it has bad sectors, because the computer was shut down incorrectly and the surface of the hard disk could get scratched. Thanks for the tips)

An update shouldn't normally delete your stuff. Try searching for Opera folders and/or launchers with your system tools. Unless you know where you installed it previously.

Most likely the update installed to a different location, and your old data is still in the old location.
