Yandex search engine is blocked in Ukraine by our government, and yandex search simply doesn't work. What stupid people in company are responsible for this heartbreaking stupidity? You could also choose to hide the box altogether since the address bar has the exact same functionality. Hiding it will also provide you with additional space for your precious Speed Dial.
