Whenever I launch a video on Facebook (I'm talking about FB native videos, not youtube), it starts to play correctly. But whenever I try to fast forward or rewind it by moving the slider, the video pauses and cannot be played again. Moving the slider refreshes the displayed video frame, but doesn't start the playback. I can watch the entire video just fine as long as I don't try to fast forward or rewind. If I do, there's no way to continue the playback. Issue occurs only on Opera, videos are working fine on Chrome.

I tried:
-updating flash player
-disabling Opera extensions
-disabling Opera's ad blocker
-launching Opera in private mode
-clearing cache, cookies
-using both HD and normal videos on FB
-using other browsers (FB videos work fine in Chrome for me)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

Launch Opera

Go to Facebook

Play any native FB video

Try to fast forward it or rewind by moving the slider

Notice the video will pause and it won't be possible to watch it anymore

Actual result: FB native videos are getting paused and cannot be watched after trying to rewind or fast forward them.
Expected result: User should be able to fast forward or rewind FB native videos without any issues.

OS: Windows 10 64 bit, Creators Update

Zalex might be right, if I didn't improperly misunderstand about the account
Meaning if it's only and exclusively on Facebook, but everywhere on your system, the problem might lie in their player or its rendering sitewise. Unless it's in your system*;)*

Zalex, this shows it might be non-browser related. Meaning there might be something wrong with plugins/players. As long as Opera, for instance, they say relies on system players...

I thought it was a problem with a a cookie with his user because it was wrong in every browser, but now it seems it's a Facebook problem with his account.

You may need to try to clean the cache in every browser, with cCleaner you can do it for all at once.
Clean site cookies may be needed too.

Try enabling / disabling Hardware acceleration on settings.
If nothing happens, You may try enabling in Opera://Flags | Override software rendering list

Try it with a clean profile first.
