That's a known problem discussed here in the forums too.
I had some VPN connection problems even without AV, so because of this could be good isolate an Opera problem with a clean profile.

Well, problem fixed.
At least now you know how to back up your profile :rolleyes:

AVG is the problem and it's blocking the opera vpn

You might try with a Private Window Ctrl+Shift+Data.
If not enough clean cache and 3rd party data from Settings - Clear browsing data.
If not enough, clear cookies.

And if not enough either, a clean profile.

To rebuild / backup the profile: Important files

Just use the most important to do not reproduce the problem again.

There was a problem in 19/20 May in Dev version but already fixed in latest update, take a look for updates in About Opera.

It solved some intermitent problems with vpn. If you have not yet updated, the new version may solve the problems.
