Love Opera and have been using it for the last year or so but after huge Windows 10 update a few months ago, the badges in the address bar for both the vpn and the ad block stopped responding. They don't do anything when you click on them. This is separate from the VPN only working intermittently. I used to be able to change the vpn's geographic location option through clicking the vpn badge but now can't get to that option anywhere. Is there something I can change or fix to get the badges to work again, rather than having to open SETTINGS and alter either the vpn or ad block through that?

I don't see any discussion of this problem after searching for all related or relevant terms. And those limited results I did see were ancient and not recent enough to coincide with the start of my problem.

So maybe someone could update me on the discussion, knowledge of, or status of fixes to this problem? That'd be great.
