I'm sorry but English is not my native language.
Can anyone tell me if Opera has an option to prevent from accidentally closing while downloading ?
I've made this mistake several times and I'm a little bit tired of it !

Yep, as it may be being caused by a corrupted profile.

First you may want to check with extensions disabled if you use any.

It's 45.0 and it doesn't warn me

That's strange. I've just checked and the warning appeared here.

Is opera://flags/#show-downloads-in-progress-warning enabled?
