loosing several lengthy posts this way is quite frustrating, and i won't retype comments no longer.

For a second time, this morning the site loaded, but as I use a
forums.opera.com
tile not an
https
one, it should (and as a rule does) reload to
https
, then reload with autolog (as usual).
Not autologging is rare and known, but now it's the second time I had this loop: the site autologs me, then immediately reloads back to not-logged, then logs me again, so on. If I try clicking a link - a board or anything, it starts loading it then reverts back to the start page with the loop.
It only happened once before, more than a week ago, so it seems not a very persistent problem yet, especially that I just logged in orderly.

I always leave Opera with Turbo on recently and start browsing this way. No similar issues recently.
This morning it was - it had been - an update of my 360 Total Security AV, then I had some connection troubles and my ISP said it was my AV blocking something. Well, I turned it back as soon as I got my connection back - I can't browse unprotected; second time they tinkered, I lost it again, this time I didn't turn the AV on-off - I preferred to try turning my local net (what's English for that?) off and on again, which did the trick.
That first time though when I had such a loop, I can't recall if there'd been any software update or not, positively I didn't lose my connection though, that time...

No similar issues with any other sites I browse here with Opera 36 on my Windows XP SP3. Recently my ISP changed the way I connect to something without involving this thing in Windows' "Connections" folder - some macabre or something. If it might be relevant...

Agreed :->
And such a negative does not help us seeking workarounds.
On a very slow connection (<15kb/s) @lat19 posting delays are minimal (tolerable).
