From Opera Presto I remember the Menu options icons.
With availability of menu customization a lot of icons / modifications could be added too.

Don't know if the concept now it's more minimalistic but I think they are helpful to easily find each option without to read.
Load all options with icons is probably too much bloat but at least an icon in first option of each group section would be nice.

At the other side, a double separator to differentiate Browser menus from Extensions menus would be nice too.

Maybe this ideas are already discussed internally.
