Is there a simple fix for this?</p>
<p dir="auto">I run CCleaner just before I shut down if that makes any difference.</p>
<p dir="auto">(BTW, the latest Opera version is amazingly fast. Well done Opera!).</p>

<p dir="auto">Before using the built-in VPN, you need to enable it in Settings &gt; Privacy and security. That should enable a "VPN" badge inside the address field. Click on it to turn the VPN on and off, and change your virtual location. Note that some countries (China) and software (other types of proxies) may block the VPN. And obviously your extension may support higher data caps than the built-in VPN.</p>

Are you accessing SurfEasy through an extension?</p>
<p dir="auto">(Opera owns SurfEasy, and Opera comes with a built-in VPN, but apparently you are accessing SurfEasy through an external program.)</p>
