Opera Mini on your phone is supplied and operated by Vodafone. They can shut down this service the same way as a company can shut down a TV or radio. But I agree you should be notified about the closure with advance.</p>

If you see "end of service" message, then it looks like Vodafone shuts down their Opera Mini service and basically you cannot do anything about that.</p>
