<![CDATA[Out of Memory Problem Still Continues - Opera Version: 43.0.2442.991]]>For the current update, the Opera website says the memory leak problem have been solved.

  • I updated Opera to the latest stable version(43.0.2442.991)
  • I tried to recreate the problem by opening about 30 websites at the same time with the VPN on.
  • Then closed and re-opened VPN. I didn't see the "Out of Memory" page for some time.
  • When only 3 tabs were open, it showed "Out of Memory" page again.

This problem has been persisting for like months, and it is not still solved.

Not exactly "out of memory" for me... but for sure some memory behavior, that I would not call "expected"

Not exactly "out of memory" for me... but for sure some memory behavior, that I would not call "expected".
When watching streams on twitch, using html5 player, opera really starts occupying my ram.

They are different Opera versions, he's talking about Stable and you are talking about Beta, despite seems the same problem, versions are different, so please search if another discussion with the same problem exist for Beta or create another discussion for that problem.

This is a picture of Opera task manager with only 2 tabs open. It shows 2 GB of memory is being used by Opera when VPN is open.

I realised the problem is mostly related to the VPN usage. When I open VPN and with just one Youtube video tab open, memory usage goes up to 1.5 GB. This is huge. And this problem has not been solved for so long.
