my problem started suddenly and without warning. I cant update or install Opera [web installer]. Every time I get the following message:

Version: 43.0.2442.806 - An error occurred while checking for updates
Update stream: Stable
System: Mac OS X 10.11.6 64-bit

I tried the offline installer and it worked but not now I have the same problem. I don't want to manually install every time. It used to work perfectly before.
