<![CDATA[Opera Mail - Drafts are not saving]]>I have two IMAP email accounts, one with FastMail and the other with Bluehost. I am not able to save drafts! There is no Save Draft option available in the UI and File > Save As doesn't do anything. When I close the tab of the email I am composing, it doesn't automatically save to the Drafts folder either.

Please help. I just switch from Mozilla Thunderbird and I already like Opera Mail a lot more, but not being able to save drafts is a deal breaker.

I noticed that under Account Properties > Properties > IMAP that you can specify where each action maps to and its missing a Draft folder. I'd like to suggest to the devs to include this field.

It's a known shortcoming. Unfortunately, Opera Mail isn't being worked on anymore. I forget how long it's been now. Maybe 3 years (besides 1 security update).

Ok, this is workable. I still contend though that the draft should still be able to be found in the account's respective IMAP draft folder, perhaps its as simple as allowing the user to map it.

By default Opera Mail M2 saves any New Mail / Replay / Forward as Draft, but if you are referring to find the draft in the respective draft folder of the each IMAP Account, it doesn't, you should drag the draft to the draft folder of the IMAP Account.

You should look in the main "All Messages > draft folder", in the upper Mail list, your drafts should be there waiting to be send or dragged to the draft folder of the IMAP Account.
