OpenSSL in Opera 12.16

I’m still using Opera 12.16, build 1860, Win32 (on Windows 7 x64).
I can’t tell from the documentation whether the version of OpenSSL used in Opera is one of those affected by the recently-discovered Heartbleed vulnerability. OpenSSL 1.0.1 through 1.0.1f (inclusive) are vulnerable.
Can someone tell us what version of OpenSSL is used in Opera 12.16?

I can't say for certain, but the "About" page for Opera 12.16 has an OpenSSL copyright date of 2011, and the vulnerable versions of OpenSSL weren't released until 2012.

For now I've disabled TLS 1.2 in Opera. I guess it's finally time to let Opera 12 be and use Firefox. I doubt there will be a security update for the Presto browser, contrary to what they promised. But we already know that they are liars, all the good people left Opera ASA.

Andreas Bovens, Extensions product manager & developer relations lead at Opera Software said there is no problem with the bug, see https://twitter.com/andreasbovens/statuses/454004623301672960
