There's a discussion thread about a fix for Windows <a href="https://forums.opera.com/topic/528/problems-with-magnet-links/12">here</a>, but the solution does not work on OS X - the file gets overwritten on re-start. Hopefully, the values written into the file are stored somewhere else that can also be edited.</p>
