<![CDATA[ad blocking / data savings doesn't work anymore]]>I use Opera for Android 37.0.2192.105088 on Samsung A5 2016 with up to date Android 6.0.1 and liked data savings & ad blocking much (it worked fine for a long, long time), but since a few weeks or months ads are no longer blocked and no more data is saved (compressed). It doesn't make any difference if data saving / ad blocking / displaying images and so on is turned on or off. So I tried the same websites with Opera mini 20.0.2254.110285 and data savings, ad blocking and so on is working fine. I even uninstalled Opera for Android and reinstalled it again but data saving / ad blocking is still not working (but it says it is turned on).

Any ideas? For the moment I use Opera mini but the rendering engine is so much worse compared to the Opera for Android rendering engine.

I've installed Opera Browser and Opera Mini (both for Android) and it seems that Opera Browser builtin adblocker doesn't work, even though it's already activated in Data Saving menu. Opera Mini adblocker, on the other hand, works normally.

The mini version works, although I've seen some ads, but not nearly as many as the other version. I honestly don't think regular version of opera for android blocks -any- ads at all

If doesn't work then forward a bug report specifying your ISP and what IP is reported checking http://echo.opera.com . Check also with WiFi or another service provider before that.

It always behaves like it's off - even when it says it's on.
