<![CDATA[Sidebar Brought Me Back Home to Opera]]>I was fanatical about Opera around 2008-2010. Then it started changing a lot. For me, losing the ability to take simple notes on the sidebar was what made me finally give it up and go to Chrome and then to Microsoft Edge.

However, Edge has become so frustrating. It always freezes on this site or that (usually Facebook or Youtube), so I decided I needed a break. I thought I'd check out Opera for the first time in years....and discovered the old familiar sidebar is back, along with an extension for the Notes feature I loved. It's much more stable than Edge and does pinch to zoom surprisingly well. So I'm probably going to stick with Opera for a while--again.

Question: Has the sidebar been back for a while or is it fairly recent?
