For some it can be a real pain if you accidentally connect using VPN and then have to go through 2 factor authentication or reset your password because it looks like you are in another country. E.g. Google, Amazon.</p>

Facebook locked my account and have forced me to send a scan of some ID which they will review. Major inconvenience.</p>
