The order in which Ctrl+Tab shifts between tabs is ridiculous and not logical. It should be straight forward like in Chrome, Firefox and Safari. E.g. when having opened a link in a tab in the background, and then after a while wanting to shift to it using Ctrl+Tab, it often shifts to an older tab which I haven't used for days.

Go to settings and type "cycling" in the search box. The two options are "Last used order" and left-to-right along the Tab bar.
