<![CDATA[Opera for Android 41 released in beta channel!]]>Hey, folks!

We are very happy to announce the release of Opera 41 beta.

It has been a long time coming, but it is finally here! We have upgraded to the latest Chromium 54 version. It includes some overdue security, performance and stability improvements that we have been missing and will be going back to a release cycle closer to Chromium again. Sorry to keep you waiting!

The update also brings a few more things that has been finished since the last release.

First, we added support for voice search. A convenient way to search without having to fiddle with your keyboard. You can find it by clicking the search bar, tap the new microphone icon and speak!

Many users have been requesting the option to clear their data and browsing history when exiting the browser. So we obliged. How to use it? Just close Opera via the Exit button, make sure to check the box in the Exit dialog to clear history and data and you’re home free.

In addition to this we have unified the share experience to follow material design. This new share menu always sort your targets based on usage, so you will always have the apps you share with the most at the top.

Finally, we know many of you still have questions and opinions about the new design and behaviour of the browser. Rest assured, we hear you.There are several tasks in process targeting the major pain points your feedback have uncovered. We aim to deliver these changes  at a steady pace in the upcoming releases.

Opera 41 beta includes the following changes:

  • A Chromium upgrade to version 54
  • Voice search
  • Option to clean browsing data and history on exit
  • New fresh share menu
  • Improvements to news feed

Where is the turbo mode for this new version

In settings. Click on the three line icon and then on the cog-wheel one.

I've looked there but don't see it. There used to be a tab you could click that said, enable turbo mode, or something along those lines so I'm wondering if it's changed are there's a difference way of going about it.
