Unknown protocol error when clicking windows store links

When trying to download an app from the windows store website an error is thrown instead of opening the windows store app. There is no mention of ms-windows-store in the windows settings (Settings> Default apps > Choose default applications by protocol)

ERROR MESSAGE:
Unknown protocol

Opera was unable to open the link since no application associated with "ms-windows-store:" protocol was found on your system.

OS:
Windows 10 latest

OPERA:
41.0.2353.46

It's because Opera can't handle the store protocol.
Try setting Windows Store as the default handler for that protocol and see if it helps.
