<![CDATA[Cannot open profile user profile directory error after close and relaunch]]>Hi all,

I'm facing a rather annoying problem with the latest version of Opera Developer on Linux.

button or by pressing Alt+F4, the Opera window does close, but processes remain active in the background. As such, when trying to relaunch the browser through the Gnome Application menu, Opera refuses to launch stating it "cannot open user profile directory".

  • Steps to reproduce: Close Opera and relaunch it.

  • Actual result: Cannot reopen Opera, stating it cannot access the user profile directory due to lack of sufficient privileges

  • Expected result: Opera should reopen normally

  • OS: Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS (x86_64; GNOME) (Up-to-date as of this post)

  • Version of Opera: 42.0.2392.0
