Eight months ago I moved to Australia, but whenever I search in Google, the search results still come back as if I am in India. For example, if I type "how much is XYZ", then Google auto completes with "how much is XZY in India". How can I change this so that it recognises where I am in the world?

My location is switched on on my laptop and I'm using Opera as my default web browser.

You don't need to close the browser first, judging by that writing or yours, Leo, do you?

You should edit the file while Opera is closed.

Well, if one clears all cookies - one ends up logged out from everything, right?

Most probably.

First thing in the FAQ.

This?

Go to Menu > About Opera and take note of the path to the Opera's profile folder

It's under the wrong heading.

You see, I believe the user needs to know where to look-find first - before going to change-tweak.

Like this?

C:\Documents and Settings\Svyaznoy\Application Data\Opera Software\Opera Stable

The file's name - just
Local State
? Or what?
