I have used Opera browsers since the beginning and still do. I also use other browsers for different purposes.

The problem with opera 12.17 is that it´s not updated and secure anymore and I would really lika a browser that I could move all my tabs to and... install say 50 instances of. I think that covers the number of parallell installations I have today of 12.17 with separate cache and profiles.

So.. is there a solution with a modern browser I can have 50 separate profiles with separate cache and that I can transfer all existing profiles and tabs to?
(Yes I need this solution so it was a big dissapointment when they abandoned the development of their old platform.)

Thanks in advance!

Either they changed something or there's some issue.
Profile folder in standalone installation should not be shared.

You are selecting the standalone installation option in the installer, right?

For me there are only one profile for three Opera chromium installations:
C:\Users\qqqqqq\AppData\Local\Opera Software\Opera Stable\Cache

You need to do standalone installations by clicking on 'options' and changing the install folder and the 'install for' field.

Same for Vivaldi:
C:\Users\qqqqqq\AppData\Local\Vivaldi\User Data

I tried making more profiles on firefox and it actually worked this time (didnt the last time i tried, but that was a while ago). Thanks!
Not sure if the profiles with security settings and all work independently yet but will try later.

Well, Opera has an option to do standalone installations as well as Vivaldi. Don't know about other browsers.

If you read my first post youll se that is why I have to use the old, not updated, slightly unsafe version of Opera and not the new chromium version but I would of course prefer a safe updated version if possible.

Soo back to the original question:
How to install several instances of browsers completely independent of each other.
If I can have 50 profiles that are completely (cache, history, tabs, bookmarks, all settings and all) independent and the usual automatic saving of it all at exit so that I, the next time, can continue with the earlier session, that would be fine to of course.
