turbo is the MAIN reason why my friends and i use opera, so maybe time to uninstall if it can't do it's thing?

if turbo is off, any page loads ok (unless IP blocks me), but not one single page will load when it is on.

this problem has only troubled me for the past month.

it IS an opera issue, NOT my PC as any other browser i use is fine (i find each browser has it's strengths. opera is good for vieo, and turbo gets me past censorship, so now opera is as good as USELESS for me as it can't do what i downloaded it for)

I can't even access my localhost tomcat server in that mode.

That is to be expected. Turbo sends its traffic requests to Opera. Opera then finds the location you are trying to navigate to, downloads the data, compresses it, and sends it along to you. Your local server is on your local network. Opera doesn't know who it is because it does not have a public facing IP address. Only your modem has one of those. Everything behind the modem is only visible to your local network.
