<![CDATA[Developer Tools / timeline / Taking screenshots does not work]]>TL;DR. Opposed to Google chrome using this feature does not work.

In detail:

  • Open developer tools (F12)
  • Select tab "Timeline"
  • Make sure "Screenhots" is enabled
  • Enable recording by clicking on the red record icon
  • ... Do something with the page that changes it ...
  • Stop recording by clicking on the red icon or press CTRL+E
    => nothing is depicted in the screenhosts area
