search no longer working

for past few weeks neither google or any other search engine is working in my opera ( wikkipedia and amazon do work ).
All I get is "this site can't be reached ... "
I've disabled my firewall, tried diferent opera setting but can not find where the problem is,
othere browsers work just fine, using latest opera build here -

Is the VPN enabled? Is Opera Turbo enabled? Does it work in a private window?

I'm experiencing same problem -- "this site can't be reached" I'm not having problems with my other browsers. There's no current problem with the Internet service in my area nor the company. I also experienced stacking of webpages a few times. I have all up-to-date anti-spyware (3 different programs) and an active anti-virus. Everything is compatible on my computer and I have ample space, etc. Another words it can't be anything but Opera. In my case it started happening after the update to Opera 4.0.

once I enable opera turbo , searches start workingm, moment I disable it all stop working ...

I am getting the opposite issue, I just downloaded opera and when I have Turbo enabled google search aren't able to be clicked. I click the link and it goes no where.
