All was great until just now. Opened Opera and got "Profile Did Not Load Properly" pop up. Now all my saved passwords are gone. What the heck happened? Can they be recovered? Or am I screwed?</p>

At least not that I'm aware of. Downloaded the .deb from the official Opera download page. Installed via gdebi. Opened. Synced. No modifications made by me at all. Everything was default. All was fine for a couple days. Then this. Also happened on Manjaro XFCE.</p>

I may have fixed it. I went to Nemo (the Linux Mint 18 file browser for Cinnamon) and clicked "show hidden files. Went to /home/unclespellbinder/.config/opera. Deleted that and reopened Opera. Signed in again and my bookmarks and passwords are back. Is this normal?</p>
