<![CDATA["Connection Error. Cannot sync data" message when logging into Opera Mini on iOS]]>I'm trying to sign in to Opera Mini on both my iPad and iPhone 6s. Whenever I try I get the following message on both devices:

Connection Error
Cannot sync data. Try again later.

I've been trying for most of the day with no change. Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

I'm using Opera in Windows 10 and my account is set up to synchronize.

I was finally able to log in, first on my iPhone (and strangely) a while later on my iPad. I don't know what really resolved it, but I did try everything, including resetting synchronization on my desktop. My usage statistics were already off, so doesn't seem like that was the problem for me.

Frustrating there wasn't a solution to this out there....

What worked for me was to go into: settings -> Opera Mini -> Turn Off Usage Statistics, then go back into Opera Mini and sign in and hopefully it'll work.
