How stop Opera from making itself default pdf reader?

go to your computer settings > apps > standard-apps
you can either choose the fileformat (e.g. *.pdf) with the associated program to open with or vice versa!

Also maybe from within Opera...you can go to Settings/Developer/Plugins...and from there disable the Chrome PDF reader

Tried the disable plugins. Still tries to open but when can't downloads as a copy.
Found Opera set defaults in Windows. Won't let me uncheck it as default pdf viewer.
Can change in Set Associations but Opera keeps resting. Ugh.I'll give another go in different order and see if sticks.

go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Default Programs\Set Associations. Find .PDF, rt. click and select your favorite program. (Never use option to set default to everything the program can open.)
