<![CDATA[can't remember password to view saved passwords!]]>HELP PLEASE!!! Does anyone know how I can find out my computer password in order to read my saved passwords? (Instead of all the asterisks). This is making me crazy! I hope SOME brilliant person out there has some idea on how I can find this. Thank you so very, very much.

If it doesn't find the passwords automatically (in my case it displays my Google Chrome ones by default not my Opera ones) select "Advanced Options" under the file menu, check the "use the following profile folder" box and enter the path to the Data folder of your Opera profile.
You can see where that is under "About Opera" in the Opera main menu.
It will be something like C:{user path}\Opera\Profile\Data.

Do you log onto your operating system when you boot up the computer?
If so, it should be the same password that you use there.

It doesn't want the password I thought it was. ( And I can't find anywhere on the Opera website to get in touch with them to find an answer!

PS: I have 2 or 3 accts, and it defaults to one I don't use. I click it on my primary one that I open with a PIN.

If so, it should be the same password that you use there.

It is not to not remember your passwords.
It is to quickly log in to a number of your accounts when you're not alone. I mean on the workstation.

The stupidest idea there is, is when you have like a dozen keys to important rooms, or safe deposit boxes, car, etc., you take them all, no duplicates left at hand, put them all to the safest safe that can't be broken in, you smile, you go away... and you lose the Key.
