Go to setting>apl & choose the default browser and then un tick "clear default"

--- just push the page downward to have opera refresh the page. it works for me all the while.

it is a regression！
if it is to expedite the saving process, an option could be added to the settings, much as the saving location option. LET USERS CHOOSE IT！

Please design opera mini to save page in memory card and open it from there using opera mini-the same way as you do in opera mini for java.

I can accessed yahoo mail again under extreme data saving using v18 (latest update) again - don't know how but I encountered blank page under extreme mode this morning...

Login first account, then login/changed to another account, then login first account name again - opera mini, then kept flipping between 2 URL addresses without stopping - blank pages still (my guess is, those are URL addresses of the former Gmail account and latter Gmail account respectively). This happens when extreme mode data saving is OFF - in fact even in older version of opera (v16, I think).

I can access gmail under extreme saving and tried logging out (gmail was under first account) but pages flipping under non-extreme still occurs. Finally, I need to clean all cookies, to be able to login Gmail again (under non-extreme data).

Another thing is that I can't open yahoo mail under extreme mode (blank page though URL is displayed). However, have no problem accessing yahoo mail under non extreme mode...problem occurs after opera v16, I think.

thank you for the new opera. thank you for bringing back the alphabetically order to saved pages (helps a bit).

after a few days' usage, here's my comments on new opera:

  • I always feel something different when I upgraded from v7.6 to v16 some time ago. The previous day, I opened up v7.6 in old phone after reading some comments of v7 in v18 beta thread. The (old) feel is direct, uncluttered, though dials squares are a bit too big..in short, I request that the developing team tried closing the white gaps between dial squares..round off the sharp corners of squares...no wordings (descriptive) for each squares..for a start.

  • opera mini android is for smartphone where screen is small - fingers presses should be minimised..in setting menu where apps layout, theme, etc can be changed..many white spaces..need to scroll down to end options and eyeballs similarly move as well (easier to get strained)..maybe the menu titles can fitted into squares, rectangles, depending on title length, into one screen space without having to scroll down..with some cascading squares to save some spaces.

  • text size under page layout..in my case it makes no difference if I set it to small, medium or large.. or am I missing something else?

It would be great if it was as fast as UC Browser. I've to use Opera Mini for web browsing & UC Browser to file downloading. Using two browser for different purpose is little bit annoying. And please, do not remove Opera Mini's separated search bar in the omnibar in the next release of Opera Mini.
