<p dir="auto">select: "Do not allow any sites to handling protocols" in Opera Preferences (privacy and security)</p>

<li>Go to "Manage Handlers..." (just below the above 1.)  and select "(none)" listed next to "mailto" type</li>

</blockquote>

You do not have this mark. You just have to be careful what you are agreeing. (Eg. to assign "mail:to protocol" to Opera)</p>

I think I may have to uninstall for now. Unless there is some way to remove it as an option in the default email reader dropdown. That may work.</p>
