Add-ons Page Issues

  • I didn't say that - but not everyone has it. Is that the same page you get to (I removed the "?ref=menu")? Do you use an ad blocker (besides the built in one) or an extension to restyle pages?

  • i disabled adguard extension that i was using and the in built one isnt activated, same issue. if this was just on 1 pc id say ok its poss something in my setup but its the same on laptop and desktop.abd i still get this:

    https://postimg.org/image/s44sxrz61/ from ur link https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/

  • ps have cleared cache have even reinstalled opera via win 10 store /diasbled all extensions i had installed prior to this issue still the same, my next plan is a clean install of opera after using revo pro to delete my current installation and user profile if u think this will help

  • I cant believe your attitude to this "LEOCG" closed my thread, this is apparently a duplicate started in.... july... and not resolved or any help or working solutions provided that actually work. do any of you mods expect people to use a browser with no extensions?

Even if this topic had a year old, it would still be the same issue so there would be no need for lots of topics talking about this.

    bye bye opera

Be careful with your wishes. 🙂

  • and not resolved or any help or working solutions provided that actually work

So the one provided on this topic didn't work for you?

  • no it didnt

  • this is still a problem and flush socket pools didnt fix the issue.
no extensions makes this browser about as useful as IE
    please fix

  • The stylesheet is this file:

    https://cdn0.opera-mini.net/cdn_v1/files/download/addonsfs/pub/static/CACHE/css/38a0c62dd168.css

If you click on that link, what happens? (You should see a bunch of text, starting with"*{line-height:1.3em;".)

  • no i get a blankk page

    https://postimg.org/image/q43madqex/

  • For people who are not getting to see the proper page - are you using any parental filter / anti-virus / corporate firewall etc? If so, which one? This will be usefull info for us if you could share it.

We do and I see that we are blocking some traffic, please contact me directly since I can't disclose the information publicly like this.

  • amazingly this "non problem" has been resolved

thank-you to whoever was involved in sorting this issue

  • the gallery now loads perfectly i can view and scrolll thru all extensions, but the green add to opera button doesnt work:(

  • I had this issue since the last week, after upgrading to Opera Developer 41.0.2329.0. At the same time, the ImTranslator plugin stopped working.

When I removed it and visited the Addons site to reinstall it, the site looked unstyled, and I couldn't install the addon as well.

I read previously that this might be an issue (and it was!) when you're behind a corporate firewall, which I am.

I connected to the site using my personal hotpot, the site loaded successfully and I was able to install the addon, which now also works fine.

When I connected back to the corporate network, the site still works, probably with the cached css.

  • ok so i finally found out exactly where this issue originated from for me. I'd forgotten I use open DNS family shield which diverts all traffic from the router thru the OPEN DNSServers to protect against porn etc for the kids.

(i figured it out when i used a vpn and it all worked perfectly)

by allowing these 2 domains to the allow list on openDNS it all works fine:

    addons.opera.com
    cdn0.opera-mini.net

thanks for all help and feedback on this issue.

  • Our corporate proxy is categorizing "cdn0.opera-mini.net" as "Proxy Avoidance" and thus is blocking the connection. I guess you are reusing the URL's that's used for Opera Turbo? Might be something you want to look into.

  • This is a pretty embarrassing bug. A major Opera site not working specifically with Opera. Are they releasing a fix for this asap? Is this happening to every new install?

  • I'm not using a special DNS server. I'm using 3G (Warehouse Mobile, New Zealand.) They rent bandwidth and don't own there own cell towers so it will be the 2Degrees or Vodafone DNS server.

Dude leocg stop being so defensive about this embarrassing bug. Your closing peoples threads before any confirmation that there issue has been resolved. Your not an Opera empoyee and Opera developers don't want you turning there customers against them. The post I quoted it's so immature.

There is already this topic to discuss that issue with the add-ons page so there is no need to let lots of others opened.

BTW, as this discussion is totally unrelated to this topic's subject, it ends here.
