<![CDATA[Asking me where to save files]]>Hello. Each time I download something it always asks me where do I want to save the file. In settings I have disabled "Ask where to save each file before downloading", but it keeps asking me each time I want to download something... it should be remembered to automatically save files into Download. How to fix this?

Regardless which browser I'm with, I always open the folder and scan the file.
For progs, I even established a special "temporary" folder in my general "received" one.

why do exe files need to be manually saved

For you to not complain that you got a malware because a executable file was downloaded (and maybe installed) without your knowledge.
