<![CDATA[is there a function Opera can close a tab when meet a specific Url ?]]>Hello ,

My situation is having use a service will show me a web www.xxx.com & tells me ----> This window ( Tab ) will close in 7 seconds.

Can I assign some command to Opera is seeing this specific Url Op era can auto close tab in 1 second ?

This URL only close the Opera tab in 7 seconds and is a bit long for me.............

Opera's regular commands include neither loops no comparisons, so I can't do it.

AFAIK, you can't cycle internal commands in Opera for continuous run. Also, you can't close a few pages with specified URL pattern in background mode.

But there is ability to close few pages (with matched URL pattern) through the "Windows panel" using internal commands (assigned to button, keyboard shortcut etc.). Create new keyboard shortcut with specified URLs closing action(through the "Windows" Opera's panel) and use externals software such as AutoIt for cycle keyboard (shortcut) pressing after time interval.
But closing pages each 2(two!) seconds will be very annoying since this is not background process in Opera.

p.s. But, maybe Opera's 12 extensions API allows this? Really, i don't know (but, more likely, it's allows). If so, find the programmer guy and order(buy) extension for Opera Presto.

I'd have to see what is opening the site but it might be possible - I used to do that in Presto pretty often and you're still using Presto ...
