<p dir="auto">It took a while to find the 64-bit version, which was here:<br />
<a href="ftp://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/win/1218/en/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">ftp://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/win/1218/en/</a></p>
<p dir="auto">But as soon as I loaded it up I got a message saying that I'm not using the latest version of the browser and I should upgrade. Following that link pointed me to the standard 32-bit version of the browser, I don't know which version is suggested.</p>
<p dir="auto">My post above sounds more like a complaint, but my question is not:<br />
How do I enable auto-update to make sure my Windows 64-bit version of Opera is always the latest version?</p>

Though I've used it for years now and only had a couple of times it gave me trouble.</p>
<p dir="auto">Whenever they decide 64-bit has matured sufficiently they will graduate it to Beta and then Stable, but note that Developer will never auto update to Stable.</p>
