<![CDATA[Opera 12.18 and plugin activation]]>Noticed that (atleast with some) embedded facebook videos, i need to click that plugin (lego) symbol in the address bar, to video starting to play, even though the "click-to-play" option is not enabled. Opera 12.x uses flash plugin for that, with newer Opera it's html5 video.

Also found, that embedded instagram videos needs 3 clicks before starting to play. And this is with Opera 37.

I've tried here and all started playing at first click.

Yeah, it was due the "disable html5 autoplay" extension. Didn't realise it first, since there's no controls in the video- playback bar etc. And i keep the extension icon hidden.

With Opera 12 those videos won't play at all.

To allow plugin content to run immediately Opera would have to pay the patent owners.

I'm not sure but i guess that patent is no longer valid nowadays but since Presto stopped being developer, the restriction was never removed.
